Today I’m announcing four new series that I’ll unveil here and via my social channels over the next few months. The first series, Abandoned Americana, will run throughout April. This series features images of America’s abandoned past. From farms to fields, I’ll bring you images that are iconic yet haunting. In a short series titled Abandoned Government, I’ll explore what happens when the federal and state governments decide to walk away from facilities. The Route 66 series brings us to shining examples from the Age of the Automobile, when Americans saw the road as an accessible adventure. The fourth series, Industrial Heartland will explore how the Midwest has changed over the last century and where it might go from here. Between each series, I’ll pause for a few days.
Patrons at Patreon (chriseaves) will get full and early access to each series. Your support helps fund series like these. You can also support me by ordering prints or products from MidnightOwl.Gallery. Or, if you want to support good, old-fashioned print media, order a copy of my zine, Parliament. For $5 you’ll get a signed, limited-edition copy shipped to you.
