Fall Colors along the Fox River

Fall Colors along the Fox River

Coming around the bend, I found this tree overhanging the bank and nicely framing the view.

Foggy Fox River Valley

Foggy Fox River Valley

Twas a beautiful morning along the Fox River Valley today, and I couldn’t resist a few photos of my favorite tree. Here’s an in-the-field version from the camera to my phone. 1/200 F14 ISO100 at 105mm on Oct. 23, 2021 in Carpentersville, Ill.

A few weeks ago I timed the weekly shopping trip with the sunrise, and I was blessed with a beautiful morning sunrise. Ever since last spring, I’d been wanting to get a silhouette of this tree (and one of its partner just to the north), and I finally made it happen.
